Game Drives – Kruger National Park
The Full Day Safari is operated in an open safari vehicle and you are accompanied by a qualified and experienced registered guide. Your guide will work closely with a local tracker to find you the animals you want to see. All you have to do is sit back and be amazed! The tariffs are normally fully inclusive of meals, game drives, walks, laundry and sometimes wine and beer. All rangers are also trained as first aid helpers. The vehicle also has a canvas roof for sun protection and roll down sides for inclement weather. Your guide is in constant radio contact to other safari vehicles to ensure best sightings. The safari starts off early in the morning and your guide will cover as must area as possible during the day. The guide will also stop off at various camps, to stretch those legs and have a look at all the various lookout points.
Informative and interesting game drives are conducted by experienced, accredited Parks Board Guides and are offered from all main rest camps and bushveld camps in the Kruger National Park. A range of 10-seater and 20-seater vehicles are available. The 10-seater vehicles are more comfortable and exclusive and the 20-seater trucks are more economical. The availability of the 2 types of vehicles will vary from camp to camp and guests will be informed of the available type on making reservation. In order to enjoy the game drive experience, guests are advised to wear a weatherproof jacket and a cap. Binoculars and camera's are a must.
